Thanksgiving Break

Just a reminder that there will be NO dance next week for Thanksgiving break. We will have NO classes Monday-Thursday. 25th-28th.

We are so excited for this new year to start.  We are located at 3935 North 75 West  Hyde Park. (behind Tony's Grove)  First day of class will be September 9, 10, 11, 12.  On this day you will need to pay your first month tuition $24 or $20 if you have more then one girls taking AND the $15 registration fee per girl.  Please note that all checks are made payable to "Cristy Wiser".   Tuition will then be due the first Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of each following month. (depending on what day your daughters class falls on) There will be a late fee added to your bill of $10 if not paid by the second week.  The costume deposit of $35 will be due in October.

We are not to picky on the girls attire.  Some girls like to get all dolled up in the typical dance attire but, that is not a requirement.  If you are going to go and buy a leotard, buy black.  Just make sure they wear something they can move around in well. We don't require ballet shoes but they are welcome to wear them. Please make sure your name is on them if you have them.

Please look over the class list and make sure we got your daughter in the right class. We get lots of emails and could of made a mistake and put down the wrong information. Please let us know if you need to change any information Class time, the spelling of your daughters name, etc. Please call if you have any other questions. All classes are 50 Minutes long, so please try and have your girls on time as well as pick up on time. We are happy to have parents watch the first week of dance, but do recommend parents to not stay every week and watch. We feel that the girls are better behaved when family isn't watching. We are happy to answer any questions you might have. We are so excited for this new year.

It's almost time for the BIG RECITAL!!! Just a few reminders for Saturday. 
SATURDAY MAY 25, 2013 at 4:00

The dress rehearsal is the same day Saturday May 25th please have all morning classes there at 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Then all afternoon classes will come at 10:40 A.M. Please have them there on time we only have 20 min with ALL the girls to practice our finale. The afternoon classes will be done at 1:00 P.M. Please have them in costume one the costume they wore first on picture day. Don't worry about hair or make-up for the rehearsal.  Make sure EVERY idem of their costume has their initials or name on it. Also its a good idea to have your girl bring a bag / backpack with activities and snacks to keep them entertained during the dress rehearsal while they are not practicing on stage.
Then every girl needs to be back at 3:30 P.M. all ready with costume hair and make-up all on. The recital will start at 4:00 P.M.

Important May Recital Information

Parents:

The times have had to move up a little sooner for the Recital on SATURDAY MAY 25th. We have had two of our dance teachers just get ask to the SKY VIEW SR. BALL. and we want them to be able to attend their Prom.  Knowing they are a huge part of our dance recital we knew we needed to make these arrangements.

New times will be: All morning classes will need to be at Sky View at 9:00 -11:00 a.m. and all afternoon classes will need to arrive at 10:40 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. For the dress rehearsal they only need to be in costumes (not hair and make-up)  Please have your girls dropped off and picked up on time. We are on a tight scheduled. Then they will need to be back all ready (Hair, make-up, Costumes)  for the recital at 3:30 p.m. with the Recital starting at 4:00 p.m.. It should last around and hour to and hour in a half.

The week of May 14, 15, 16 will be our picture day. If your daughter hasn't already received costumes they will be getting them May 7, 8 ,9.  They will be coming to dance in costumes for picture day. They need to come to class wearing a certain costumes first so they can practice changing from one to the other.

Next week they will be coming home with pricing for the pictures. These are optional but please have your girls still come in costumes so we can practice changing from one costumes to the
next.

May Calendar:
May 7,8,9: Hand out costumes to all afternoon classes.
May 14,15,16: Picture Day. Come to class in costumes. Parents are welcome to stay.
May 21,22,23: No DANCE this week because of the upcoming dress rehearsal and recital on Saturday May 25th.

If you have not paid all your fees (monthly tuition, costumes, Recital fee $10.00). you will not be able to take home your costumes the day they are handed out.

April update

This a reminder for those girls that are in any of our morning classes there will be NO DANCE this week. We will be preforming at Pioneer Valley Lodge Wednesday April 24th at 4:00 p.m. Please be on time we only have 45 min tell the grandparents have dinner so we need to get stared fast.  The address is 2351 North 400 East in North Logan. Its across the street from the specialty hospital. If you get lost or cant make it please call my cell phone 881-1566.

Also Please remember our dance recital is Saturday May 25th.  The Dress Rehearsal is that same day. All morning classes will come from 10:00-12:00 and all afternoon classes will come from 11:40-2:00. The Dance recital will Start at 6:00 p.m. girls will need to be there at 5:30 p.m. dressed and all ready. Please be aware that the time has moved up a little from the past email. There will be NO normal dance class the week of the recital (May 21st, 22nd, 23rd)

Pictures will be done in class the week of the May 14th-16th. They will come to their normal class but will come to class in costume one/or two. (we will let you know asap) and do pictures and then have them change into their second costumes. Its great practice for them for the recital. We will give you more information on pictures and prices.

SP Information

Parents-

Sorry it's taken us so long to get you a total on your second costumes we finally got the seamstress to finalize our total. You can pay this costume fee from now until April 19. You will not receive your costumes until all is paid in full. Your second costume fee is $35.00. 

We have been working with SKY VIEW to finalize the date of the dance recital and have had to move it a few different times but think we finally got it finalized. It will be on SATURDAY MAY 25th. Please be award that this is Memorial Day weekend. They will have a dress rehearsal that same day. The four morning classes will come from 10:00 to 12:00 and all the afternoon classes will come from 11:40 to 2:00. Then the recital will be that night at 7:00 p.m. We will give you more information in April. There will be a recital fee that will be $10.00 per girl and that will be due with your MAY tuition. You will not receive costumes if all your fees are not paid in full. So please try and pay May tuition and the recital fee the first week of May. We will be handing out costumes that following week (May 7th, 8th, 9th). Please put that day on your calendar now we know how crazy May can be.


Just for parents with girls in the four morning classes ( Wednesday 10:30, 11:30 and Thursday 10:30, 11:30) The girls will be preforming at the Pioneer Valley Lodge on Wednesday April 24th at 4:00 p.m. That will be their dance class for that week of April 24th and 25th. We will be handing our their 1st costumes that previous week. So if your girl will not be at class that week it will be your responsibility to pick up the costume from Hayley or Cristy.
