Just a reminder that there will be NO DANCE the week of October 16th (Tuesday),17th (Wednesday),18th (Thursday) because of UEA.
Also just a reminder about costumes. Your first costume fee is due by the end of OCTOBER. Its a $35 nonrefundable fee. Any questions feel free to call or email.

We are getting really excited for dance to start!!! Dance will start the first week of SEPTEMBER. Tuesday 4, Wednesday 5, and Thursday 6.
Classes are 50 min long. Please be on time dropping off and picking up. You are more than welcome to stay and watch the first day of class but we would appreciate if the parents didn't stay as we have found in the past that it is more of a distraction for the girls. If there is a problem we will let you know and make arrangement.

Please have your girls wear clothes that they can move in well. NO Jeans, Dress, etc. Leotards, tights, leggins, ballet skirts, tank tops, shirts, ballet shoes, jazz shoes are all great to wear. If you don't have dance shoes you can wait to buy them until we know what they will be wearing for their dances for the recital.
TUITION and REGISTRATION can be paid the first day of class.
Tuition is $24 a month, or $20 if you have two or more girls taking. Registration is $15 per girl. Please write your checks out to CRISTY WISER or if you do cash please make sure you put in an envelope with your daughters name and class time. There is a $10 late fee if not paid by the second week of class. You will not receive costumes if all fee's are not paid.
Tuition will always be due the first week of each month. These are the dates for the first Semester.

2012-2013 registration
2012-2013 dance classes are getting ready to start... We are so excited for a new year!!! We were hoping to have registration august 1st but we are having trouble with the blog registration, so we are going to move it back a week and hopefully our computer tech can get it up and going. Register wednesday August 8th. We are offering more classes with fun new teachers and new classes. We have a cheer- hip hop class and a advanced jazz- hip hop as well and many more fun new classes. RECITAL WEEK- Saturday May 26th
It's finally here!!! We are so excited but want to remind you of some important information for that day.
Please note at which costume your daughter needs to come dressed in! Some classes will be coming dressed in second costume!!
For the dress rehearsal we are not to worried about their hair and make up we just want them to practice changing from costume to costume in a short time. We will have older girls helping in the back with costume change but if you feel that your daughter will need more help you are welcome to come back and help with their costumes and hair.

Picture Week
This week is Picture week. Everyone should have their first costume. You need to come to dance wearing that costume. A few costumes didn't have the hair pieces in them but we have them for you and will help you put them in when you come to dance. If your daughter is only is the second dance, we have her come in dance clothes and we will have her costume their and she can go into the bathroom and chance.
The following is a list of what each class should have in addition to their costume.
Just a remimber about the recital. The week of May 22nd Tueday, 23rd Wednesday and 24th Thursday there is NO Normal Dance classes. Your class for that week will be the dress rehearsal. The Dress Rehearsal will be the same day as the recital SATURDAY MAY 26th. The Wednesday 10:30, Thursday 10:30 and Thursday 3:30 classes will come to Sky View in the auditorium from 12:00-1:20. We will tell you the day of pictures what costumes they need to come in first. Some classes do dance 2 first. Then the other Five classes will come at 1:00 to 3:00. Please remember we only have 20 minutes with all the girls there to practice our finale this will be the only time they will have to practice this together. Please be considerate with dropping off and picking your daughters up and off. Please send your girls with a backpack with coloring/activities/treat/etc that they can play when they are waiting for their time to practice.Also in the backpack put their other costumes in their backpack as well. Then girls need to be back all ready by 6:30 ready for the Recital at 7:00 p.m.
PLEASE Label EVERYTHING of your daughters costumes. There is a tag inside each costumes please put your daughters first and last name on them.

Surfin USA (dance 2) No Tights- Girls will have to take tights off for this dance. Hair- They will leave hair in the side bun and just add a flower clip

Mr. Workabee (dance 1) Wear a black Leo- We will have everything else you will need. Hair- Will stay the same we will just switch the crown to a headband.

We have lots coming up in these next few weeks. So just a reminder about all the upcoming events.
May 8-10: Costumes will be handed out. We will only be handing out costume ONE this week. Costume TWO will be handed out the day of pictures. If your daughter is gone this week it will be your responsibility to come pick them up at my house. So just call Hayley 881-1566 to get your costume.
May 15-17 : Picture Day. If you want pictures please make sure to bring your paper back with a Check written out to Karly Adams.
Come to class in the costume that was given too you on the 8th, 9th, 10th. Every costume will have a hair piece we will help you put them in before picture so everyone's is on the same side/or same way.
Also the THURSDAY 5:30 class needs to get bring any black high or low top shoes, we where thinking converse kind of shoes. I have talked with a few of you and I know some of you already have them if not this is something that you need to borrow or buy. There is many cheep versions of the Converse style shoes. Please let us know if their is a problem and we can help find you some for cheep or to borrow. If you can bring them with you to class this Thursday.
My THURSDAY 10:30 class we had a little problem with the straps on the green Leo. This is something that will be fixed by our scream tress after picture day. We will collect them after picture day and get them fixed for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Just want to keep in contact with everyone these next few months with the recital coming up!! There is a lot going on, and we want to make sure you as parents knows what's going on. Just a quick reminder for those of you who haven't paid for your costume 2 fee they are due this week TUESDAY 10th WEDNESDAY 11th and THURSDAY the 12th. We are going to preform at the Pioneer Valley Lodge Retirement Center Next Thursday April 19th at 4:30 p.m. we will need to be there at 4:00. We will hand out your costumes this week so if your not at class this week you will need to come pick them up from me before the recital. I know this is a little last minute if you have a conflict will you please call Cristy or Hayley. We will NOT have class the week of the Performance so No normal classes on Wednesday April 18th and Thursday April 19th.
There will be a $10 recital fee for us to use Sky View. It will be due with your MAY tuition.

2nd dance cosutmes
The teacher will put a sticker on your daughter after dance with the price of your new costume on it! Costumes will be due by the first week of APRIL!! We won't be handing out costumes tell MAY, we don't want the girls to be wearing them or loose things before the dance recital. APRIL 3-5 SPRING BREAK - No Dance.
APRIL 10-12 Tuition and Costumes are due
MAY 1-3 Tuition due and the recital fee - we will let you know how much as soon as we get more information from SKY VIEW.
MAY 8,9,10 Handout costumes
MAY 15, 16, 17 Pictures during dance class. Each girl will come to dance in costume one, and change into costume two. We will send home information about pictures and picture prices.
MAY 26, 2012. Saturday Dress rehearsal and Recital. Please be aware that, that weekend is Memorial day weekend. So please plan your holiday plans around the recital. Sorry for the inconvenience. Sky View is really hard to book.

FEB DANCE
Normal Dance for the month of FEBRUARY. Please try and get your girls to dance, they are starting to work on new dances and solos. Costume 2 will be due first of March and we will be getting you a price on that ASAP. If you have any questions let us know.

New semester starting!!
Hope everyone had a great CHRISTMAS!! We are excited to get back to dance and start learning a new dance!! Classes start this week Tuesday the 3rd, Wednesday the 4th, and Thursday the 5th. Reminder tuition is due the first week of each month! If you have any questions please feel free to call Cristy or Hayley. All the imformaion is on this blog!!! If anyone has friends or family that wants to start dance we have a few spots open and now is a good time to start!!
