RECITAL WEEK- Saturday May 26th
It's finally here!!! We are so excited but want to remind you of some important information for that day.
Please note at which costume your daughter needs to come dressed in! Some classes will be coming dressed in second costume!!
For the dress rehearsal we are not to worried about their hair and make up we just want them to practice changing from costume to costume in a short time. We will have older girls helping in the back with costume change but if you feel that your daughter will need more help you are welcome to come back and help with their costumes and hair.

Saturday will be a very busy day for all of us. Please bring a little back pack/bag that you can put your daughters costume(s) in, a snack, and some activities for your daughter to be entertained with (books, coloring books and crayons, etc.). LABEL EVERYTHING!!! Wednesday 10:30, Thursday 10:30 & 3:30 classes need to be at Sky View at 12:00. They will stay until 1:20. Tuesday 4:30, Wednesday 5:00 & 6:00 and Thursday 4:30 & 5:30 classes need to be at Sky View at 1:00. Please be aware that we have limited time to cover a lot of ground. Being on time is crucial!! Especially for the girls coming later at 1:00. In that 20 minute window, when all the girls are there, we will be practicing the finale number. This is the only time they will all get to do it together!! They will stay until 3:00. ALL girls need to be back at Sky View completely ready to go by 6:30. The recital will begin at 7:00 p.m. We are so excited for this big day!! Thank you so much for all of you parents!! You have darling daughters that we all adore!! Picture Week
This week is Picture week. Everyone should have their first costume. You need to come to dance wearing that costume. A few costumes didn't have the hair pieces in them but we have them for you and will help you put them in when you come to dance. If your daughter is only is the second dance, we have her come in dance clothes and we will have her costume their and she can go into the bathroom and chance.
The following is a list of what each class should have in addition to their costume.
Just a remimber about the recital. The week of May 22nd Tueday, 23rd Wednesday and 24th Thursday there is NO Normal Dance classes. Your class for that week will be the dress rehearsal. The Dress Rehearsal will be the same day as the recital SATURDAY MAY 26th. The Wednesday 10:30, Thursday 10:30 and Thursday 3:30 classes will come to Sky View in the auditorium from 12:00-1:20. We will tell you the day of pictures what costumes they need to come in first. Some classes do dance 2 first. Then the other Five classes will come at 1:00 to 3:00. Please remember we only have 20 minutes with all the girls there to practice our finale this will be the only time they will have to practice this together. Please be considerate with dropping off and picking your daughters up and off. Please send your girls with a backpack with coloring/activities/treat/etc that they can play when they are waiting for their time to practice.Also in the backpack put their other costumes in their backpack as well. Then girls need to be back all ready by 6:30 ready for the Recital at 7:00 p.m.
PLEASE Label EVERYTHING of your daughters costumes. There is a tag inside each costumes please put your daughters first and last name on them.

Car wash (dance 1) White Footless Tights- If you already have white tights you can just cut off the feet. If not you can get these at Wal-Mart in the girl section hanging up by the socks for $1.97 to $4.00. Hair-Pulled up in a SIDE bun and we will be giving you a yellow hair piece
Surfin USA (dance 2) No Tights- Girls will have to take tights off for this dance. Hair- They will leave hair in the side bun and just add a flower clip
Wednesday 10:30
Tangled (dance 1) Pink tights with pink Ballet Shoes- If you don't tights already Wal-Mart has them in the girl section hanging up by the socks for $1.97 to $4.00. Hair- Leave hair down and curly and put the crown in. If you feel like the crown does stay in well please bobby pin it.
Mr. Workabee (dance 1) Wear a black Leo- We will have everything else you will need. Hair- Will stay the same we will just switch the crown to a headband.

We go together (dance 1) Nude (tan) Footless Tights. If you already have nude tights you can just cut off the feet. If not you can get these at Wal-Mart in the girl section hanging up by the socks for $1.97 to $4.00. Hair: Hair will be in a high pony tail with curls, if your hair is short you can do half up. As long as you can tie ribbon in.
Rio: (dance 2) They will leave their black leo on as well as their nude footless tight. Hair: Will leave in a high pony tail we will just take out the ribbon and put a feather clip in..

Hair: Needs to be pulled up in a high bun and we will give you the hair piece the day of pictures. If you have short hair pull half up into a bun as long as we can tie something around it.
Crocodile Rock (dance 2) Leave White footless tights on. Hair: Will leave hair in bun and take out tie and will have a head band to put in.

Studied Cupid (dance 1) Black Tights and Ballet Shoes If you don't already have black tights Wal-Mart has them in the girl section hanging up by the socks for $1.97 to $4.00. Hair: Have down and curly and we have a Black clip for you to put hair.
Hard Knock Life (dance 2) Bring old footless or not. We are going to cut and put holes in them. Cristy has a few extra pair if someone needs some, or Wal-Mart has them in the girl section hanging up by the socks for $1.97 to $4.00. Hair: Will be pulled back into TWO side Pig Tails with Tie's to tie in hair.

Dancing in the Street (dance2) No tights. We want to see on picture day what it looks like with no tight If we feel like they need them we will do NUDE Tights. Hair: In a high side bun. There will be a clip to put on the side of the bun.
True Colors (dance 2) This was the costume that you were given. No Tights. We want to see on picture day what it looks like with no tight If we feel like they need them we will do NUDE Tights.Hair: Will keep in the Side bun and tie the piece of fabric you were given with your costume in the hair.
Thursday: 5:30
Forget You (dance 1) No tights. We want to see on picture day what it looks like with no tight If we feel like they need them we will do NUDE Tights. Hair: In a back bun and each girl will have a headband to wear.
Black & Gold (dance 2) No tights. We want to see on picture day what it looks like with no tight If we feel like they need them we will do NUDE Tights. Hair: In a back bun and each girl will have a Gold HAT they will be using for the dance.

May 8th-10th
Week of May Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th, & Thursday 10th.
We have lots coming up in these next few weeks. So just a reminder about all the upcoming events.
May 8-10: Costumes will be handed out. We will only be handing out costume ONE this week. Costume TWO will be handed out the day of pictures. If your daughter is gone this week it will be your responsibility to come pick them up at my house. So just call Hayley 881-1566 to get your costume.
May 15-17 : Picture Day. If you want pictures please make sure to bring your paper back with a Check written out to Karly Adams.
Come to class in the costume that was given too you on the 8th, 9th, 10th. Every costume will have a hair piece we will help you put them in before picture so everyone's is on the same side/or same way.
Also the THURSDAY 5:30 class needs to get bring any black high or low top shoes, we where thinking converse kind of shoes. I have talked with a few of you and I know some of you already have them if not this is something that you need to borrow or buy. There is many cheep versions of the Converse style shoes. Please let us know if their is a problem and we can help find you some for cheep or to borrow. If you can bring them with you to class this Thursday.
My THURSDAY 10:30 class we had a little problem with the straps on the green Leo. This is something that will be fixed by our scream tress after picture day. We will collect them after picture day and get them fixed for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
